About

Margaret R. Zotkiewicz

Writer, counselor, kid at heart

My first ‘published’ writing was a few poems for my older sisters. I still a few of them, now frayed around the edges, the ink faded, safely kept in my published folder. I am most interested in writing for children, although if I had the time, I have plenty of ideas for stories in other genres. I occasionally write a column for a national newspaper called the Polish American Journal. By day, I am a counselor for individuals with developmental disabilities. By night source of transportation for my youngest, writer, reader, walker, and craft maker. If I had to pick, I’d say writing is the most challenging yet most rewarding of my many jobs.
