Hallowe’en

I am into making fun costumes for Hallowe’en, not the run-of-the mill type, but costumes that make people think. This year, I took a green shift dress, draped it with leaf-themed fabric, sewed silk leaves onto the shoulders, and made a leaf-covered headdress.

To elaborate, my costumes each year are either a play on words or a cliche. This year I was an insulting cliche. It was played up in the Back to the Future movies, to give a little hint.

Our neighborhood had a trunk-or-treat and I wore the costume to hand out candy. It was a fun time- for each correct guess by the adults, I gave out one dollar lottery tickets.

I had six correct guesses! And I am hoping you have guessed it by now as well.
